Work Items

Hello
I have a repository consisting of source code and a set of Xml files produced from our modelling tool (Enterprise Architect)
I also have an item tracking project so we can track changes.
When checking in source code files I am able to enter the work tracking id, but when checking in an xml file i am not able to do this.
Is this connected to to file type? or is there some other reason this might be the case.

You should be able to associate a work item with any file type.

Is the IDE your code is in Visual Studio or some other and what version is it?

What does your check-in window look like when you check in the .xml file? Can you post a screenshot of it?
