We are running Source Off Site 3.5.1 on a Windows 2000 server. Sometimes for some users it works just fine but for some users following an all but obvious pattern the clients have big problems logging in. In the log.txt file there are always a lot of sections like this:
- Connection Established
- Error processing client message
- User "null" disconnected
Could that give a clue?
Telnet for the unsecure port gives "200 Protocol-Version:2.0..."
Telnet for the secure port gives "250 Protocol-Version:2.0..."
Problems logging into SoS

For the users who have problems, do they share a common type of network? Are they passing through a firewall or proxy that the other users (who don't have problems) aren't?
Do they receive a login dialog or does the failure occur before that point?
Does it seem to make a difference if they use the secure or unsecure port?
