Command line add files

Command line add files
I'm working with Visual Build Pro and I need a way to add just the "new" files from a directory to Vault.
I have a directory that contains old/checked-out files and then some new files.
If I specify the folder on the command-line Vault thinks i'm trying to add another folder as opposed to the "new" files in the folder.
I'm sure i'm missing something.
Thanks,
Ed

While the Vault GUI Client has a "Detect New Files to Add" feature, this isn't available in the Command Line Client. You would need to specify each file by name, or put the new files in a separate folder.
I'll log a feature request for the CLC to detect and add new files in a working folder.

Re: Command line add files
I see it has been 3 years since this post so... does the command line client now have an "add new" feature yet? If so what is it. If not, what is the best way to add a batch of new files to a repository.
In the past I have painstakingly added each file one at a time or, if everything in a directory was new I added using wildcards but this won't work when only certain files are new. Suggestions?

Re: Command line add files
We don't have a new "add" feature yet. We have feature request 13815 logged for this, but I don't know when it might be implemented.
Maybe batch files would speed things up?

Re: Command line add files
Is this still not possible? I need to automate functionality through the command line and having to walk the files individually seems a bit archaic.
