Hello,

We are using a registered Version of SourceGear Vault 2.0 and we are very satisfied with.

We cannot add new users or modify them (except admin) without getting a SoapException (Vault Admin - Window 'Edit user' then OK).
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException. Ticks must be beween System.Date.MinValue and System.Date.MaxValue. Parametername: ticks The detailed message is shown in the attachment.

Our configuration: Windows 2003 german, IIS6, .NET Framework German, SQL Server 2000 SP3.0a german.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Günther

Hmm.

Is this the first user added after activating the license or did you upgrade from a previous version, and then try to add the user?

Also, can the existing users still login?

One thing to try would be to deactivate your license, then activate it again.

If that doesn't work, email me your license information so I can fidde with it here.

I've seen this problem happen once before. It was not reproducible. We never figured out what was going wrong. It went away when the user deactivated his license and reactivated it.

I'd love to know what the underlying issue is. I hate mysteries in software. :(
