Turning off SQL 2000 compatibility mode in SQL 2005

Our DBA is asking me this question:

"We have an SGVault and sgmaster databases in SQL 2000 compatibility mode on a SQL 2005 instance. We would like to switch the databases to 2005 mode - are there any special considerations to undertake prior to switching?"

They want to ensure this is supported, that's all.

We are unaware of any negative effects to the Vault application that would be caused by changing the compatibility mode of the sgmaster and sgvault databases, but there could be some SQL related item that makes a difference. Did you move the database or upgrade from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 on the same machine? If you moved the database, did you just detach from the old one and attach to the new one or did you perform a backup from the old one and restore to the new one? If you performed a backup/restore, then SQL Server upgrades the database to a SQL 2005 database.
