Bug in Mac app's Find Text dialog

The Mac app's Find Text dialog does not allow CMD+V pasting of text into the "Find String" textfield. When the Find Text dialog is open, the app's input focus stays in the source pane. Thus CMD+V will paste text into the _source pane_ instead of the Find Text dialog, thus overwriting data in my source pane.

However, the Find Text dialog does allow me to right-click in the Find String and paste from the mouse context menu.

I hit this frustrating bug very often because I am used to other apps where I can select some text to search for and then quickly CMD+C, CMD+F, CMD+V, then ENTER to search.

I am using DiffMerge 3.3.0 (1001) on Mac and Windows. This bug only affects the Mac version.

Hello.

Yes, there is a focus problem with the find dialog on the Mac.
For some reason keyboard focus remains with the main window
when the dialog appears rather that being placed into the search
box. It's on my list to fix.

Sorry I don't have a better answer for you at the present time.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm just glad you are aware of the problem.

I work on Mac, Windows, and Linux almost every day. DiffMerge is my favorite cross-platform diff tool! It's great to have the same tool (and keyboard shortcuts) work on so many platforms.
