SourceOffSite 5.x failure on Windows 7

On a Windows 7 machine, you may encounter an error during SourceOffSite 5 installation that has a component problem in {CB438DD9-2B1B-32E0-9AA6-D6DA82CE9D97}.

It seems the Visual C++ 2008 runtime which is a sub-component of the SourceOffSite installer will fail on a machine not configured with the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 runtime. For a successful installation, you must download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 for your operating system.
