Hi!
Since I have installed the new Vault Professional 5.1.0.19173 a have a big problem with the Vault client.
Whenever I check out a large number of files, the CPU goes to 100% and the client is non-responsive. The plug-in for Visual Studio does not suffer from the same problem. There is no apparent database of disk access. I did a DBCC CHECKDB and found no problems. I also checked the disk. No problems.
My PC is a a Windows 7 64-bit machine with 8 GB memory and Intel i7 2 GHz proc.
Any thoughts of the cause of this problem.

Is this a new installation, or an upgrade? If an upgrade, were you using Fortress before?

It's an upgrade from Vault Server 64 5.0.4.18845. I'm not sure, but I think it way normal Vault Server.

We've been able to reproduce the problem here, when there's a large number of checkouts.
We're looking into a fix and should have something later today. In the meantime, you can try undoing some of your checkouts to make the client more responsive.
