Does Vault integrate with Visual studio 6.0?

Vault supports integration with Visual Basic 6 and Visual C++ 6.

It may take special configuration for integration to work on Windows 7.

Ok thanks. I should have mentioned I am using Windows XP. I couldn't find any menu options to set the source control to Vault in Visual C++ 6. Could you please tell me how to get Vault integration for Visual C++ 6 and Visual Basic 6? I could not find any documentation on this.

Installing Vault should create the proper registry keys for the integration. You may needs some additional steps as well.

For Visual C++

After installing the Vault Client, launch Visual C++ and look under Project->Source Control. If SourceGear Vault is not listed there, you may need to tweak your registry settings.

Look for this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SourceCodeControlProvider

There should be a ProviderRegKey with a value of SOFTWARE\SourceGear\Vault Client

Thanks, the registry fixed the project->source control menu. Since I used the handoff feature, my VC++ 6 projects are still bound to Sourcesafe. How do I rebind them to Vault?

As for the VB6 instructions, I could not find a source code control provider setting in Tools->Options->General. This is on VB6 with SP6 if that helps.
