Getting a Project recursively by date/time

Post by Guest » Wed Aug 11, 2004 2:57 pm

I'm trying to get a project using SOS 4.0.2 command line recursively by data/time. I'm pretty sure VSS supports this. As far as I can tell, SOS doesn't... Can anybody confirm this? If it works, could someone point me in the righ direction?

Thanks!

Are you trying to get files with a particular timestamp, like current time or modification time?

Or are you trying to get files from a particular point in time, like July 12, for instance?

I want to get files from a given time. So I may want to get a project recursively for August 2, 2004 10:35 am.

I think in VSS you use something similar to -Vd08/02/2004;10:35a

I'd also like to have the ability to later apply a label to those same files for that particular date.

Is either of these possible with the SOS command line?

You can't retrieve a project based on a point in time with SOS. Nor can you apply labels retroactively.

Both of these features are available in Vault, our VSS replacement product.
