Hallo,
I've integrated Vault in our systems and would give companies outside a connect to the vault repository. The way is over an ISA Server that only allowed windows authentication.
What's the correct configuration that the vault client or the visual studio 2010 can connect to the vault server over ISA.
Thanks

Re: ISA and Vault Client
We're not experts on ISA server, so don't have specific configuration steps. For a client to connect to the Vault Server, HTTP (or HTTPS) protocol needs to be allowed on the port that the Vault website is using. Web traffic needs to be allowed between client and Vault Server machine.
Also, Vault Client uses Soap messaging. I don't know if there's a specific setting to allow this, but here's a link that might help.

I'm not sure how Windows Authentication factors into this. Vault can be configured to use Windows Authentication for user login from the client to Vault Server, but this wouldn't log into ISA Server. If ISA Server is behaving like a proxy, you might be able to configure the proxy settings in the Vault GUI Client. This setting is in the Vault Client under Tools->Options->Network Settings.
