soscmd.exe -command CheckOutFile always returns 304

soscmd.exe -command CheckOutFile always returns 304 (File Locked)

This happens when
(1) The file is not previously checked out and it checks out successfully,
(2) The file is already checked out by me
(3) The file is checked out by someone else (so it fails).

It would seem to me that the return value should differ at least between 1 and 3.

My full command is

"C:\Program Files\SourceOffSite\soscmd.exe" -command CheckOutFile -server myserver:8080 -name myname -password mypassword -alias myalias -project $/myproject -file myfile

We'd like to see the SOS Server log when this problem occurs.

Set logging to verbose: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=463

Then reproduce the problem and send a copy of the log file to me. Just click on the email link below. Be sure to let me know what time in the log corresponds to the time you ran the command.
