Require Checkin Comment for New Files

I saw that there was already topic for this under Fortress: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic ... nts#p54403. We have the same request; we would like to require users to add comments when adding new files to Vault, as well as when they checkin changes to existing files. Is there currently a way to do this, or would this need to be a feature request?

I have the feature request logged and can add your "vote" to it. In the meantime, the work-around is to turn off the auto-commit. If you don't use the auto-commit, then it will require comments on an add.

Beth, please add out vote for this as well. We require comments and our users want to use auto-commit, be nice to see a Comment Required warning when they do a Add File instead of just adding it to the Pending Change Set. What our users keep running into is Adding files and not realizing they weren't committed or not recalling it's in their list and then adding it again.
