Cannot Start Vault Client

Re: Cannot Start Vault Client
Is this a new problem? Was the client working fine before?
What operating system is client installed on? Were there any recent updates or changes to the machine?
How are you launching the client? Are you clicking on a shortcut, the executable, etc.?
Have you tried renaming the client-side cache, then restarting the client?
Find the path C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Sourcegear\Vault_1
Rename the entire Vault_1 folder.
Let me know if this does not resolve the problem.

Re: Cannot Start Vault Client
This is a new problem. The client was working previously, but I can't say when as I normally access everything through Visual Studio 2008. I was running version 5.0.2, but in an effort to fix this problem, I upgraded both the server and client to version 5.0.3 yesterday. The problem wasn't affected by the upgrade (it still happens).
I am running Windows 7 (64-bit). I am launching the client via the Shortcut created on my desktop by the installer. Same thing happens when I launch the program by double-clicking on the "VaultGUIClient.exe" executable.
I just tried renaming the folder you mentioned and restarting the client, it still comes up with the error. The folder is not re-created before the crash.

Re: Cannot Start Vault Client
There might be an error log in your user's temp directory, %temp%. It's called VaultGUIClient.txt. if so, Send the log zipped up to support at sourcegear.com, Attn: Linda. Please include a link to this forum post.
Were there any recent updates (like Windows updates) or changes to the machine?
