Admin Web Client won't login

Attempting to login to the admin page doesn't login and doesn't give an error. It just stays on the same login page. Looking at the log it appears that I'm successfully logging in, but it stays on the login page.

I can login using Vault client with the same username/password though. It was working fine a few days ago. Since then, I've added some files/projects, done some check-ins, etc., the usual stuff.

I also recently did a Handoff (including importing users) from a small VSS database (which has an admin account, of course). Is it possible the import overwrote or corrupted Vault's admin password?

I'm locked out of administrating the database. Please help?

What happens if you try accessing the admin web page from a browser on a different machine or from right on the server?

I am running the browser (IE) on the server. I will try a couple other browsers, but that's not the problem. Like I said before it worked fine until I did a HandOff from a VSS database and imported the users.

Q1) Will importing users overwrite existing user accounts that have the same name? VSS always has an 'admin' user as does Vault, so the potential for conflict is there, right?

Q2) Are there any things I can try to narrow down the problem?

I have restarted IIS, rebooted the computer, and a few other things all to no avail. I can log in with Vault Client using the same credentials (username=Admin, password=admin) just fine, but not with the Admin Tool.

I have looked at the 'users' SQL table and I see the admin, Guest, and scottt rows, but of course the passwords are encrypted.

Okay, I installed Chrome browser and it works! What the heck? Why doesn't IE work?

I also tried running IE from a different computer and it still wouldn't log in. Trying Chrome from that computer would log in.

If Java enabled on Internet Explorer?

Have you added the URL as a trusted URL?
