Multi-Line Comments via Command Line

Is there any way to bring in a comment via the command line that would be stored as a multiple line comment in vault? Since the command line comment would need to be a single line string, I'm looking for some token to use (ie., <br> or \n) that would be interpreted by Vault and have the resulting comment (ie, -comment "Comment Line1<br>Comment Line2<br>Comment Line3") be displayed as multiple lines? ie.,

Comment Line2
Comment Line3

I think that's only a text field that won't interpret code. I'm double checking on this though. I'll post back if I find something.
