I've just recently upgraded our database to version 5.0.3 and am happy to now make use of the very cool shelving feature.
But like all new features, I think there's still room for improvement. A few seemingly simply changes to Client/Web-Client would include:
- Hide inactive users from Find Shelvesets dialog in Vault Client. By default, I don't think users should be able to search for Shelvesets of inactive users in the Vault Client.
- Add all as choice when searching for Shelvesets using the Vault Web-Client. This is particularly important since only admin-level users can delete old (presumably stale) Shelvesets and
all makes it easy to find these. You will note, of course, that all is currently an option using the Vault Client, though I (correctly) cannot delete other people's Shelvesets from there.
I hope you will consider making these changes.
Thanks!

Add my vote for the ALL option in the web client. One of the planned uses we have for shelve-sets is to set aside code that we started on, but due to priority shifts are going to have to set aside for later. In these cases it seems a little silly to have to remember which user shelved the change whenever we get back to working on that area.
