VS2008 plugin fails on windows 7 x64

Hi,

I recently moved to windows 7 64 bit. After a reinstall of the system, i do not get the vault plugin in visual studio 2008. Is this related to 64bit, or has something else gone wrong? The vault installer executed normally, mentioning the installation of the VS2008 plugin.

Yes, good question. I use Vault 4.1.4

We haven't tested Visual Studio integration on Windows 7, 64-bit with Vault 4.1.4. Vault 5.0 is fully supported.

Is there no plug-in selection at all? Or is there an error when you try to select a plug-in?

Did you install Visual Studio before you installed Vault client?

I've been using the VS2008 4.1.2 plugin on Windows 7 x64 without any issues. So far on two machines.

Just updating this issue. Going to VS Tools - Options - Source Control and setting the client to use appears to have resolved the issue.
