Can't get my folder back to Writable

Post by dsellers » Thu Jul 29, 2004 7:39 am

So I am a newbie to Source Control. I added my output (bin) directory to source control not understanding that that was a bad thing. I removed the repository then created another repository and added it via VS.

I can build my project, but I am experieincing some interesting behavior. I have deleted the folder (bin) from the Source Control, and I also have tried to set the folder as NOT ReadOnly however it keeps getting reset to ReadOnly. Can anyone help me????

**Update**
Whenever I change the property ReadOnly to False and then hit apply I get a message box that says "You have choosen to make the following attribute changes: unset read-only" It then asks if I want it to apply the changes to all subfolders and files. I say yes.

Version 2.0.3

But it is not taking. Anythoughts

Thanks

Just an idea, but can you delete your bin directory? You may have to close Vault and the IDE first. You can then rebuild your project to get a fresh bin.
