within the vault gui client it would be nice to be able to set different icons for the files depending on shared/non-shared or to be able to specify they show in a different color or something. also nice would be to actually put the file icon in a different column and be able to sort on shared/non-shared.
almost all of my projects have some shared and non-shared files so it makes it difficult to see quickly which files are shared and which are not.
low priority i'm sure.

feature request: shared vs non-shared file icons
Moderator: SourceGear
Tony,
I'll log this, but I'd like to understand the request a little more. In the GUI client, we do have a different icon for a shared file (2 stacked files) than a non-shard file (single file). They don't look terribly different, but they are not the exact same either.
Are you wanting the icons to look more different than they already do, or have the ability to set your own icon to associate with a file type? I'm not sure how feasible that last one is, but I'd like to understand what you are asking for.
Thanks,

yeah, just something more noticible because it's sometimes hard to see when you're scanning through the list of files. i'm aware of the double stacked icon, but it's not always easy to see quickly. being able to sort on the shared/non-shared flag would be enough because at least they could all be grouped together. it's just a "would be nice to have" thing.
