I've branched the folder containing a web project, and I'm unable to load that project in Visual Studio. I've checked the working folders on the original folder and the branched folder in Vault and tried the unbinding and rebinding of source control as mentioned in other support forum posts.
Here are the steps I took:
1. Branch the folder containing the .sln file in Vault. I branched it into another folder at the same level in the same tree, so the original and the branch are siblings.
2. Created a new folder on my hard drive and set the home directory of my website in IIS to the new folder.
3. Opened Visual Studio, and opened the branch using File > Source Control > Open from Source Control.
4. Visual Studio told me that it was not appreciative of the source control bindings:

So I followed the directions in the forum for fixing them (open the Change Source Control dialog, unbind, close, open it again, bind, close), and when I try to close the dialog after rebinding, Visual Studio tells me that the bindings are invalid, so I can't keep them. The project ends up not bound to source control.

5. Checking Vault, I found that the original folder's working folder was now pointing at the branch's folder on disk, and vice versa, so I closed Visual Studio, straightened out the working folders in Vault, and tried steps 3 and 4 again, ending in the same snarling about invalid bindings.
