Failure to retrieve VSS History

I have quite a large Source Safe database that I have handed-off to a Vault repository. I actually had to prune some of the obsolete code branches before the hand-off would succeed, which it finally did with 24,357 files in 7733 folders.

For most of these files and folders, I can get both the Vault and VSS history. However, for a few files, when I try to use the Show VSS History buttton from the History Explorer, I get "Server was unable to process request. ---> OPERATION_FAILED". There doesn't seem to be any more information than this available. Is there a way to get you more information about what the error?

Are there any errors in the Vault Server log that correspond to the failure? It's called sgvault.log and is in %windir%\temp\sgvault on the server machine.

I think this turned out to be due to critically low free disk space on the server's system drive. If I see it again, I'll delve into it further.
