Hi,
I have a problem using vault with Wise Windows Installer Editor. I don't know if it is a problem in Wise or Vault client. It works with VSS though.
When I add a Wise project, the 'Add to Vault Folder' dialog is shown in which I select the target project.
'Add project from working folder' is empty and disabled so I can't enter a working folder.
When I press OK, I get an error that says that the working folder must be specified.
I have created a special test repository and it has the working folder set and the file Wise file I try to add, is already in the working folder.
Is this an error in Wise or in Vault?
I am using Vault 5.0.1

Re: Problem with Vault in Wise
Wise editor is not one we test with or support. Even though Wise may use something similar to the MSSCCI interface, each product is a little different with their version of MSSCCI.
Were you using Vault before with Wise or is this a new installation?
You can still save your code files from Wise by using the Vault GUI client.

Re: Problem with Vault in Wise
We are currently evaluating Vault to see if we can replace VSS so we have not used it with Wise before.
The problem with Wise is not a major issue for us, we can use the GUI client .
It would be nice if it worked though.
