Error reading config

Post by GregM » Tue Jul 20, 2004 12:42 pm

----7/19/2004 6:04:32 PM sgvaultsystem--()--
A configuration error occurred reading [DelayThreshold] from Vault.Config. ConfigReader reported the following error: The section could not be found within vault.config.

I just found this error in my server log. What does this mean, and how do I fix it?

- Did you just upgrade to Vault 2.0.4? This message is just a complaint that the web.config log does not contain the information yet, so the Vault server is using default information for delay purposes on login.

If it is bugging you, the easiest way to rid yourself of the message is to start the admin tool, go to server options, make a minor change (to enable the apply button), undo that change, and save the settings. That will place the delay information in your vault.config file.

Just in case anyone is worried.

The message is more of a reminder that the information could not be found in vault.config. There are no harmful side effects other than the server will use the default settings for login delay.

It's been a few days, but yes, this was a 2.0.3 server upgraded to 2.0.4. Thanks for the info.
