SoS4.1.2 client on Red Hat linux!

Does anyone have compiled sucessfully SoS on red hat linux?
These days we tried to compile the sources but we run into several troubles.
We installed the gtk-2.4.8, glib-2.4.8 and all dependencies. The command line tool compiled but the GTK user interface not.
`g_get_filename_charsets and g_filename_display_name' functions were not declared and the make process is stopped.
Could one tell me which version GLIB and GTK that has those functions? Thanks!

I think you need Glib 2.6
