Which I think is great btw. For me I think this all great but knowing my users, some of them will be confused and complain about it.
I know there is the button to Hide VSS History but is there a clear indicator of Vault vs. VSS history? Sorry for that question but I'm still waiting for the handoff to finish! ;-b (Couldn't really tell from the screenshot in the docs)
If there isn't then perhaps a color highlight for VSS versions, at least perhaps a quicker patch than Getting the actual files.

Thanks,

The initial view of a file's history will be Vault History. To show VSS history, you click the Show VSS History button on the bottom right. That brings up a new list box, with a splitter between the two list boxes. VSS history is in the same dialog, but not mixed in with Vault history.

That's great. Thanks.

I should probably start another post on this but I am getting a lot of VSS Corruption errors during the Handoff yet when I've run the Analyze tool I get no issues. I'm getting Couldn't add any version of [vss path to filename]. While I haven't checked every file it looks like they are files that were Shared. The source of the files is in the same big chunk I'm pointing the handoff to and I got the error on both copies of the file.
Manually adding isn't really feasible since we're talking several hundreds of files so far.

Thanks,
J

What does your Vault server log file have to say about the errors?

No more than the web page is giving me. I get this in both places:

Handoff Error: VSS CORRUPTION: Couldn't add any version of $/es2000/TPI/TPIService/TucWorklist.h Please manually add this file. See the Vault Server Log for more information.

It is still processing these errors, would it show additional info right away or when it's complete?

Thanks,
J

It will probably be fastest to take this offline. Please email support at sourcegear.com ATTN: jeremy with a link to this thread, and a copy of your sgvault.log.
