Adding new license removed the old one

I just bought an additional 10 user license - my server already had 10 licenses configured. When I added the new licenses using Server Manager it REMOVED the old one and replaced it with the new one. So I still only have 10 licenses.

It will be a few days before I can get hold of the old license number off my colleague but even when I do I fear this will just happen again. Is this a known problem.

I am running version 4. The only thing I can think of is that I am logged on as my own user not the user who installed the server since he is away at the moment.

There was a bug in the 4.0 server manager where the Server Manager seemed to eat licenses. After configuring licenses, some of them disappeared.

This has been fixed in later releases. I'd suggest you install SOS 4.0.2 to fix this.
