User definable date formats

Post by jsr-york » Wed Jul 14, 2004 4:50 am

Hi,

SourceOffsite lists file dates in a MM/DD/YYYY format.

I would like to use a (in my view more logical) format, either YYYY.MM.DD or DD/MM/YYYY.

I cannot see an option to change this. I would be happy if it used the Windows 'Regional and Language Options' Short Date format.

Best wishes

SOS will honor the setting in the regional options, but you'll need to do one additional thing. In Regional and Language Options, go to the "Advanced" tab. At the top is the "Language for non-Unicode programs" area. Set the value in the dropdown to the same locale specified in the Regional Options tab. If these match, the SOS client should display the date in your preferred format.
