Changed files not appearing in Item comments

Hi I'm encouontering an odd behavour in fortress (1.1.4), if you check in a file against an item number and have Add checkin coments as Item comment ticked then the list of files is only added to the Item if you browse for the item number but not if you just type the item number in to the update bugs box.
This seems rather odd, it's almost like it needs the item number to be in the comment for it to work properly.

You are correct, you do need to browse to the item to create the comment with the item number.

Hi, is that the expected behaviour? I would have thought it should be able to add the file list to the item as it has the item number from the update bug edit box.
