Are you trying to uninstall the server or the client?

What version of Vault are you trying to uninstall?
I really need to install this program
Are you trying to upgrade or just uninstall?

Error 1721 is an msi error. Unfortunately, to get around this you will probably need to manually uninstall the server.

To do this:

1. Delete the IIS virtual directory: VaultService
2. Delete your VaultService folder (C:\Inetpub\wwwrote\Vaultservice is the default)
3. Delete C:\Program Files\SourceGear\ (if the folder exists.)

2. Open regedit and look under the following keys for entries pertaining to Vault and delete the entries (an example of an entry to delete would be
{3C19DF42-B4E5-4A07-B91D-990D43C4F213} for some versions of Vault)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products

That should start you off clean to do a fresh server install.
