Hi,
I've been poking around with Vault for the last few days as we are thinking about using it in my organization; we're coming over from SourceSafe so in general my people seem to like Vault's look and feel. However, in administrating the SourceSafe databases, there is an option to change Rights by Project which allows specific user access to be assigned to folders within a project within a repository, rather than the repository as a whole.
I don't see anything like this in Vault. All I see is a way to assign rights by repository. Is there a way to do individual rights by project, folder, etc? This sort of thing is really important in our org and it's probably a deal-breaker if not supported by Vault.
Thanks!
Is there a way to mimic SourceSafe's Rights by Project?

In the Vault admin web page, the admin needs to turn on Folder Security for the repository. Click on the repository name and then look to the right at the options. Once Folder Security is set, then underneath the repository name you will see a link for Folder Security. You set folder-level rights there.

Ah I see, great, I tried it and it seems to do what we need. Thanks again!
