Using Eclipse Version: 3.3.2 and Vault Plugin 4.1.4.18429
On some occasions (sometimes when re-opening a closed project in the workspace for instance, or after an external build), the Vault client adds a bunch of files and folders which are under the project folder, but which should not be added, such as the built files in the project output folder. Is there a way to prevent this behavior?
Vault Plugin in Eclipse repeatedly add files itself

Re: Vault Plugin in Eclipse repeatedly add files itself
This is a known bug - it's managing to exclude the proper folders, but not the files underneath. There will be a fix in 5.0. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Vault Plugin in Eclipse repeatedly add files itself
So if this is not going to be fixed in V4, when is V5 finally coming out?
Re: Vault Plugin in Eclipse repeatedly add files itself
Soon....beta 2 is due out this week and 5.0 will follow, though I can't give you an exact date
I can imagine if you had enough output files this might be pretty painful. If it is painful enough that you can't wait, I can send a pre-release build in the next day or two. Send an email to shannon at sourcegear dot com, if you'd like a link to a pre-release.

Re: Vault Plugin in Eclipse repeatedly add files itself
The problem is that removing all those entries from the pending change set is slow. Even with a fast quadcore computer with tons of RAM, it takes around 30 seconds each time just to undo the changes (not counting the time I need to make the correct selection of items to be skipped).
I'll therefore send you an e-mail, does the version you mentioned work with a V4 server?

Yes, the pre-release I give you will work with any server 4.1.4 worked with.
