SQL query for file and folder count?

I need to do some research into size of repositories and artifact counts and was wondering if there is a query to do this? I know 4.1.4 has this in the repository view via the Admin page.
I am on version 3.5.3 currently with plans to go to 4.1.4 in the fall.

By artifacts, do you mean nodes, or number of files, or something else?

Is there a particular reason you need that information outside of the admin web page? If there are any problems going on, we'd like to assist with that.

If you are upgrading in the fall, you will probably want to go to Vault 5.0 or the most recent version after 5.0. It should be out before then.

Just want to get the same numbers as what the 4.1.4 version gives me now on the older version. Need it for analysis of a project to convert all .Net 1.1 apps to the latest, etc. No issues, just need it to do an estimate for the PM's. They want to know how many repositories, files, folders, etc. I just thought there was a quick and dirty query I could run to get this information without having to wait.

As to the 5.0 version, I usually stay away from x.0 releases of any software.

That same information is available in the Vault 3.5.3 admin tool in the repository properties. Would that provide you with what you need?

I guess it would, but this will be cumbersome as we have over 100 repositories. Maybe I can get an intern to do this tedious task.
Was hoping there was some query I could run against the DB to give me the same information.

Hi,

I am doing similar analysis to break down huge repository. Admin page only shows total files in repository. Folder's properties only show file count in the folder and doesn't count files in all sub-folders. I need to know file count of certain high level folders that includes files of its all sub-folders.

Can this information be found using SQL query OR any other way? Can I please have SQL query that return file count including files in sub-folder for any given folder?
