Create folder fails

Create folder fails
In the fortress client I am unable to create a folder anywhere in the repository. Everything has been working fine for months. We came in today and tried adding a new project to fortress from within Visual Studio and kept getting file not found errors when checking in the project. We looked and Fortress did not create the parent folder. When we tried to create the folder through the client, nothing happened. There are no errors thrown.
I updated the server and client to the latest versions and that still didn't solve the problem. The fortress logs to not show any errors.

Re: Create folder fails
Do you have access to the Fortress admin web page? Take a look there an make sure you're not set to read-only access.
Do you have Folder Security turned on? Is it possible you are limited in any areas such as $ or a subfolder?

Re: Create folder fails
Everyone is set to full access on the repository.
We do not have folder security turned on.
We are able to create a folder in an existing solution in Visual Studio and it will create it in Fortress. We just can't create it from the client or add a new project.

Re: Create folder fails
Can you open your Fortress GUI client, go to Help - Technical Support and post the information?
Then can you take a look in your Fortress server log to see if any errors are posted when you try to create a project or add a folder? The log you need to check is at C:\Windows\temp\sgvault\sgvault.log. Post any errors you find.

I think I may need a closer look. Could you send an email to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread?
