Work offline

Hi,

In the "offline mode" I added a new project to my solution. After go to "online mode" I can't access the option "Add to Fortress", only "Check in". How to solve this problem ?

Do you see yellow "plus" signs next to the project/files to be added? If that's the case Fortress has already detected that the project has been added to the solution and ready to check in the files, which will put them into Fortress.

I am experiencing this problem too. The plus sign is NOT present and I cannot add the project to the repository. The "Add to Fortress" option remains grayed out. Is there a way to force the detection of a new project or files?

Any help is appreciated.

What version of Fortress are you using? What version of Visual Studio? Are you using the Enhanced or Classic Client for integration?

Could you post of screenshot of what you're seeing?

Using:
SourceGear Fortress
Version 1.1.4.18402

Enhanced Client on Visual Studio 2008 SP1

This is what I see in the Solutions Explorer. Notice the procWMS project is not bound. I have no options to bind it.

Is this project in a directory under the solution file? That might help in the future to detect the new project for adding to source control.

For the current situation, try adding the project through the Fortress client, then use the File->Change Fortress binding dialog to unbind and rebind the solution and projects.

BTW, yes, that project is in a directory under the solution.
