E-mail notifications of commits.

Post by dmagliola » Wed Jun 03, 2009 4:16 pm

Recently, I received an e-mail from Vault, saying the following:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Subject: [Vault Change - xxx] xxx has changed $/Trunk

> You have requested to be notified of changes to the Vault item $/Trunk
>
> xxx modified the item on 20/05/2009 19:00:08. xxxx's comment
> for the transaction is:
>
> ****************************
>
> The changes made are:
>
> $/Trunk/Code/xxxxx -- Added
>
> For more details on this transaction, go to
> [link]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We've been using Vault for a while now, and this is the first and only time we've seen an e-mail like this.
In fact, we would LOVE to get e-mails like this for every check-in that someone else does, so we're all up to date, and now that for some reason we got this, we've been looking for it like crazy, but we haven't found the option to turn this on.

Could you please tell me where this feature is?

Thank you!
Daniel

I have instructions in the attachment. This will become a KB article soon. The part you can ignore relates to the Item Tracking. The rest is the same as Vault.
