CruiseControl Cache error?

Post by Jab » Mon Jun 01, 2009 11:20 am

I've searched the boards and none of the recommended solutions are working. Hopefully someone here can help.

I keep getting this
ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.CruiseControlException: Source control operation failed: . Process command: C:\program files\sourcegear\vault client\vault.exe getversion 11665 $/Enterprise -merge overwrite -makewritable -backup no -setfiletime checkin -host source -user [snip] -password [snip] -repository Project

Now, the actual CC log file shows this.

<exception>System.Exception: The working folder state information for E:\ProjectSource\....\Web References\WebService is incompatible with this version of Vault. Please choose a different working folder path. The specific compatibility exception was: Could not detect the file type in the supplied stream.

Now, this only happens via CruiseControl calling the command line. The same command from the prompt works fine. The GUI also works fine. I've tried clearing the cache files, deleting and re-adding the folder in question but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Did you try clearing out your baseline files? Check out this forum thread about that: http://support.sourcegear.com/viewtopic.php?t=4922.

Yes, I cleared out the entire Source Gear folder in Application Data for that user. Any other ideas?

Could you try setting a new working folder and get the files down to the new location? Or, maybe rename your current working folder and make a new one of the same name?
