VSS log file remains after logging off sourceoffsite

Hello,
I have recently noticed an issue that when a sourceoffsite user logs into a VSS database and then closes the users log file (indicating that they are still logged in) remains in the loggedin folder of the VSS directroy. Trying to delete the file results in a error to the effect "file is in use and can not be deleted." If the SOS service is restarted then the file can be deleted.

This issue is hindering our ablilties to run analyze because it believes the users are still logged in.

Any help would be appreciated.

It would be best to stop the SOS service before running analyze and then start it again afterward.
