v4.1.4: The object could not be found.

Post by kha » Tue May 05, 2009 1:03 pm

I am working on a testing setup, i'm the only one who is working with this setup. No one else is working with this Vault database. When I tried to do "get latest" the $. After the "messages" says "2009-05-05 2:57:03 PM] Finished get latest of $". There are a lot of "object could not be found. It may have been deleted, moved or renamed" as below for different files.

The below line, I checked with the path on the repository and the Crp.cs is still in that directory. So, i wonder why it gave out the fault message like that.

2009-05-05 2:41:48 PM] Get latest version failed for $/Trunk/Common/Objects/Crp.cs: The object could not be found. It may have been deleted, moved or renamed.

Look in the Pending Change set. Is there an operation such as a rename, move or delete that hasn't been committed yet?

Another possibility is that the client side cache is out of sync with the repository and is reporting the file is there when it actually isn't.

Info on clearing the Client-side cache here:
