VS 2008 - Vault 3.5.1

I am still using V 3.5.1 since at work we just upgraded to VS 2008. Can Vault 3.5.1 work in 2008?

Even though it's not supported until 4.1.x, many people find that they can work with the Classic Client and some older versions of Vault. I don't know how far back one might be successful with VS 2008 and older versions of Vault though. Some things to keep in mind are that if you plan on upgrading older VS projects, then you will need to unbind the solution first, then upgrade it, then you can bind it back to Vault and check it in.

You might want to consider upgrading to Vault 3.5.3 just to get the last of the Vault 3.5.x maintenance releases. That's a free upgrade from Vault 3.5.1, and there are some very nice improvements. Of course, if you are carrying our Maintenance plan (has a fee), then I would encourage you to upgrade to the latest version.
