Windows x64 support

Post by duckworth » Thu Oct 30, 2008 12:12 pm

I have installed DiffMerge on a Vista x64 and Windows Server 2008 x64 and the Explorer integration doesn't appear to work in either, as DiffMerge is not displayed in the context menu.

I had a previous report of it not working on Vista 64 and have confirmed it
and have a bug logged for it.

I don't have a Windows Server 2008 x64 machine in front of me, so I can't
confirm that, but it's probably broken too.

So I guess I need to get a 64 bit machine and do some digging.

Sorry, I don't have better news for you at the moment.

I also have recently upgraded to vista64 and I am missing very much the shell integration.
Can anyone provide an update to the current status of this issue?

I have a fix for this. It will appear in 3.3.0.

It should be out any day now.
