Get Project By Label always sets "current" date/ti

Post by Fed Up » Fri Jul 02, 2004 5:00 pm

When getting a project by label, SOS 4.02 GUI Client ignores the "Set date/time on local files" option (on the "Files" tab of the "Options" dialog) and always applies the current date and time to the local files.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Probably a bug.

If you do a Get from History, the file time honors the setting in file options. So I would think Get by Label should too.

I agree. When will it be fixed, please?

I've logged this a bug for SOS 4.1, due out early this fall.

I also need this funtionality, I tried to get a project by label with SOS 4.1 but all the files have the current date and time.
(In Options dialog "Tools->Options->Files->Set date/time on local files" I selected "Modification")

Getting a project by label with SOSCMD (parameter: -time modification) also sets the current date/time.

When will this bug be fixed?

The bug wasn't fixed in 4.1

When is the next release due? And will it include a fix for this bug?

I can confirm that it has been fixed for 4.1.2. The release date hasn't been finalized, but should be this summer (in the Norhten Hemisphere, that is).
