Inserting tabs as spaces

I'm using 3.2. I don't seem to be able to find an option to insert tabs as spaces. Can anyone help?

[to SourceGear] Very nice diff/merge tool by the way. Thanks for making it free!

I'm not sure I understand the request. When I am editing in the DiffMerge tool, I can insert a tab (essentially 6 spaces) into the file that is receiving the changes and I can insert individual spaces. Please explain further.

I think the original question is "Is there a way for the TAB key to
insert n spaces rather than a single TAB character?" Lots of text
editors have this ability.

Sorry, but no, we don't have that feature. I'll log this in the
bug/feature DB.
