How to "reset" vault and VS.NET

Post by bbatchelder » Thu Jul 01, 2004 4:41 pm

I have seen the instructions for clearing the vault client side cache.

Are there any other instructions one could follow to completely clean their system, if they were having troubles with VS.NET and Vault, and just wanted to uninstall and re-install them both?

Uninstalling the client and clearing out the cache files should pretty much do it. There are registry entries under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SourceGear\Vault and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SourceGear\Vault Client, but I think the installer clears those out. If not, you can delete them manually.
