I work on multiple projects- so ideally I would like to use the Vault IDE Client with VS.NET 2003. Also, I would like to use profiles with automatic log in so that I do not need to log in when I open a solution; when I tried them, it seemed to use the same profile when I opened another solution.
Is there a way to tell the client to use Profile X with solution 1 and Pofile Y with solution 2? In fact, the only difference is the repository, the username and password remain the same.
Thanks!

Re: Question about Vault IDE Client & Profiles
This info is stored in the MSCCPRJ.SCC file, so you could hand edit those files. It might be the case that Vault loads the last profile you logged in with, BUT, the MSCCPRJ.SCC file also stores the repository ID to connect to for that solution/project, which it uses instead of the profile repository, so you should be safe even if Vault picks the wrong profile, as long as both profiles connect to the same server.luther_miller wrote: Is there a way to tell the client to use Profile X with solution 1 and Pofile Y with solution 2? I'm not sure how much sense that makes - play around with it, and you should be able to get it to work. I was able to automatically login to two seperate projects in two different repositories on the same Vault server.

that makes sense
I first ran into it as an issue when I was opening the second solution for the first time from Vault, so that explains it. I'll play around with this and let you know if I still have questions.
Thanks!
