Server closed connection issue

Hello,

Please could you offer any advice on the following issue:-

We have been successfully using SourceOffSite (V4.2) for sometime with very few issues.

Recently, however, the following problem has started - after successfully logging into a sourcesafe database, the message 'Server closed connection' occurs. This happen between 2 and 30 minutes after login.

What is the cause of this error message?

There isn't just one answer with that error. It could be some sort of timeout, it could be a router shutting down the port, it could be that there is another program using the same port and that's when it interrupts, etc.

Could you send me your SourceOffSite server log? SourceOffSite log file (log.txt) is located on the machine where the SOS server resides in this path C:\Program Files\SourceOffSite Server. You can either post the log here or send it to support at sourcegear.com (attn: Beth) with a link to this forum thread.
