we now use Fortress for some time, and here is a short list of new features that would be great (in order of preference). I may already have asked for some...
Before reading, just be informed that Web Users are our customers, Full users belongs to the company (this explains many remarks I think)
- create sub projects (just like category may be, but there is a 'security' issue here, we do not want everybody to see everything)
- give access to some issues<=>milestones and/or category only (we create a project for each of our project, a milestone for each customer that has ordered a new version/changes. We do not want all our projet<=>milestone visible as we have confidential contracts that do not allow us to communicate on that until the project is done
)- same remark for the users, because this give some hint on other customers. Web user shouldn't be displayed in the assignee list (and only visible for us in the resolver column) as they cannot work on source code
- share milestones between projects (already asked). Because a project may require the delivery of several products (then the same milestone)
- be able to hide/show some fields for web user
- choose between user name instead of login (in display lists). Moreover, displaying login name gives a hint to access to source code (only password to look for)
- display the type of licence in the admin/users page
