Fortress Install problem

I am struggling to get fortress server up a couple of days .
The installation wizard finished successfully. However, I got error when I tried to access admin page. It said either "Server Application Error" or for example, "XML Parsing Error: not well-formed

My PC is running window media center 2005 with IIS 5.1. I have VS2008 and SQL2008 installed before installing Fortress. The event log gave the error ID 36 with message "The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC'. The error was 'The specified metadata was not found.
".
Can somebody save me?

Is IIS running? Was the website stopped?

Is the 2.0 .NET framework installed? Do you have any other frameworks installed?
