Hi,
Ever since we've upgraded from 3.x to 4.x, we have seen issues where shadowing fails sometimes. Whenever it does, invariably we check the vaultshadowfolderservice.txt log file, and it has this error right around the time of check-in:
Vault Shadow Folder encountered a problem: Exception of type 'VaultClientOperationsLib.GetLatestVersionFailedException' was thrown.
Usually if we change a file and check things back in, the second time it works fine. Any ideas?

Re: VaultClientOperationsLib.GetLatestVersionFailedException
Do you see any corresponding errors in the Vault Server Log ?

Re: VaultClientOperationsLib.GetLatestVersionFailedException
In the Admin web page, what settings are you using for your shadow folders?
Are you receiving that error in just one repository or with all repositories?
Does that error occur when just one particular user checks in a change or does that occur with all users.
Could I have you increase your Vault Server Log ]Vault server logging[/url] to the Debug level? That will require an iisreset after saving. Just go to Start - Run and type iisreset. Setting the debug logging will disconnect everyone for a minute, so you might want to pick a time when it would cause the least amount of disruptions.
