I must be being particularly dim today! I'm sure earlier this week I found a blow by blow account of how to move vault to another server. I need to do this because we are upgrading to a more powerful system. I stupidly did not bookmark the forum post or knowledge base article when I found it and now I can't find it again.
Does anyone else know where this information is or how to do it? I thought the instructions I read said to restore the database first then install vault but that fails when the existing database is found, so either I've remembered the instructions incorrectly or forgotten a step somewhere. The Windows server is running Server 2003 standard edition and we are using SQL 2005.

If the upgrade fails, send a copy of the Vault installation log to support at SourceGear.com, attn: Linda. The log is Vault_install.log and is in your user's temp directory, %temp%.
